MAMC Membership

MAMC is a memership program designed to enhance your enjoyment of contemporary art at the Mori Art Museum. MAMC is not only about being able to enjoy the museum as often as you like. It is about building friendships and getting to meet people who share your love of contemporary art. It is about supporting the activities of artists and becoming an active member in the local art world. That’s why MAMC membership entitles you not only to unlimited entrance to the museum, but also to the chance to participate in a wide variety of exclusive events. We hope you will consider joining us, and help make Tokyo’s art scene even stronger.

Membership Benefits

Free Admission to Exhibitions

Naturally, as a member you can attend exhibitions, and you can also enjoy the Tokyo city view and the sky deck together with a companion free of charge as often as you like—you are welcome to come enjoy yourself as you like, year-round.

Invitation to Exhibition Opening Receptions

You and your companion are invited to join the “Opening Receptions and Priviate Viewings” that are held before exhibitions are open to the general public. Please come and be the first to enjoy the latest exhibitions.

Invitation to Members' Events

You will find myriad events that explore the exhibitions in depth and are only available to members. Deeply satisfy your curiosity by meeting the artists at exchange events.

MAMC Honorary Members

MAMC receives a broad range of support from honorary members, to include giving performances at events, and they are powerful allies together with the Mori Art Museum in devoting passion for art.

Preferencial Treatment for Members

Presenting your member card at the Museum Shops will bring discounts on the items that you purchase, catalog exchange coupons, and even complimentary tickets to exhibitions outside of the Mori Art Museum and a wealth of beneficial information.

Types of Membership

There are two types of individual member categories: FELLOW, and BENEFACTOR.

Fellow

Initiation Fee None.
Annual Fee ¥21,000- (tax included).
Exhibition admission fees are waived for members as well as for one companion.
In addition to the companion mentioned in 1, up to two more companions can receive preferential reduction of one half of the regular admission fees.
Priority admission during when exhibitions are busy/crowded.
Companion invitations (for one) for "MAMC Night" private viewings for members (one for each exhibition).
Preferred or free participation in public programs (excluding certain programs).
Delivery of the "MAMC Members Express" mail magazine for members (published irregularly).
A 5% discount on items purchased at the Museum Shops (excluding items such as certain publications).
Five complimentary tickets for each exhibition.
Invitations for members and one companion to join private screening of exhibiitons and opening presentations.
Two exhibition catalog exchange coupons prsented per year.
